Travel Ottawa to North of Toronto, ON
During the night we had a down pour.
Then it would calm down and start up 10 minutes later. When we got up it wasn’t raining so Ross ran
out to hookup and the rain started at 8:15 with thunder. It took us ½ an hour to get through Ottawa
past Kanata and under the Valour Bridge.
We crossed the Mississippi River twice on Hwy 7 West.
Lots of small ponds along the way covered in lily pads. Mostly deciduous trees and after Peterborough
more farms and lots of corn fields. The rains stopped after lunch and the rest
of the way was warm and sunny. The KOA
is a little smaller but very nice and clean.
We were told there was a family reunion going on this weekend but it
shouldn’t be too noisy.
