Day 92 Travel Levis, QC to Ottawa, ON

Mon., Aug. 19

Travel Levis, QC to Ottawa, ON

Leaving Levis we crossed over the St. Lawrence past Quebec City to take the northern route.  Harry told us traveling through Montreal was crazy.  There was some road construction but nothing that slowed us down.  The northern route was a good choice.

Thanks to all the bypasses we made it around the northern part of Montreal without any trouble.  Good roads and no stopping for construction.  But where are the rest areas when we want to stop for lunch.  Down the road we pulled off the highway near Grenville and ate lunch in a parking lot.  Across the street from us was this magnificent house.

Since we were close to the Ontario border here we decided to cross into Hawksbury.  This route took us through the northern part of Ontario, farm country very nice drive.
