Day 84 Drive to Greenwich & Brackley-Dalvay PEI National Park

Sun., Aug. 11

Drive to Greenwich & Brackley-Dalvay PEI National Park

The Park’s Canada person at Ft. Amherst told us to visit the beaches at Greenwich which is the most easterly part of the PEI Nat’l Park.  The Interpretation Centre has a great display and also a 12 minute presentation.  We didn’t go to the beach instead driving to the trail leading to the floating boardwalk and the sand dunes with two other short hikes.
Red Head across the bay from park
Driving around the bay brings you to Brackley-Dalvay part of the park.  Some great beaches along this northern shore.  One of the attractions here other than the beaches is Dalvay-by-the-Sea.  A historic house that was once a summer home and is now a hotel.
