Visit Charlottetown, PEI
Drove to Peake’s Wharf to start our historic walk and shopping! At the wharf are quaint shops and little restaurants and of course a Cow’s Creamery shop. The sidewalks have coloured lines on them to indicate the different walks to follow. We took the Red Line for the Historic walk.

Charlottetown has some beautiful churches and right across the street from
each other. We went inside St. Paul’s Anglican Church from I wonder why there are 2 and 3 churches almost
side by side. The Fathers of
Confederation met here in 1864 at the Province House National Historic
Site. Next year might be the year to
visit when they celebrate their 150 anniversary.

We stopped for lunch at the Merchantman’s Pub and sat outside to watch all
the people go by. It is close to the new
convention centre on the water which has a board walk joining to Peake’s
Wharf. Grabbing an ice cream with their
on the spot made waffle cones at Cow’s Creamery we walked thru the nearby park
reading more history sign boards and scriptures in the park.
